Allanah completed her double degree of Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Business majoring in Business Management at Griffith University in 2013 before going on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Bond University in 2014. She was later admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland before joining the team at Brooke Winter Solicitors.
Before becoming a solicitor, Allanah completed her Honours Thesis on Marriage, De facto Relationships and the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). She excelled at university having received academic excellence awards in 2011, 2012 and 2013. She completed work experience as a legal student at various family and criminal law firms on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, including Brooke Winter Solicitors, and completed her practical legal training at a boutique law firm on the Gold Coast. During these periods, she dealt with a vast range of family and criminal law matters and gained invaluable experience in these areas. She has also worked on many Legal Aid cases as well as sensitive cases involving domestic violence.
Allanah is highly dedicated to assisting all her clients by providing tailored legal advice, assisting in family law negotiations and settlements, drafting court orders and affidavits, appearing in court and advising clients on police charges and investigations (such as Fair Trading, Workcover, Centrelink and other statutory bodies). She understands that each client matter is unique and deserving of the same personal, meticulous care and attention. Her aim is to resolve matters as harmoniously as possible for the benefit of her clients however she is committed to achieving the best result even if that means taking a matter to court and fighting for that result.
