Mitchell grew up on the Gold Coast and graduated with Honours in Leadership from Emmanuel College. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Laws at Griffith University whilst also working as a legal student for a local Barrister in both Criminal and Family Law. He then completed his Diploma in Legal Practice at Bond University and joined the team at Brooke Winter Solicitors to undergo practical legal training. As a law clerk, Mitchell assisted our team of solicitors in all areas of Criminal and Family Law. During this time, he acquired extensive knowledge in the like procedures and was soon admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
With a genuine passion for advocacy, Mitchell has acquired the skills necessary to protect his clients’ rights in any jurisdiction. He often travels the east coast of Australia to appear on Criminal Law matters in Mackay, Townsville, South East Queensland, Northern New South Wales, Melbourne and Hobart. When appearing in Local Courts, Mitchell represents clients daily in relation to matters involving Traffic Infringements, Domestic Violence, Drug Offences and Child Protection. Mitchell also appears in the Federal jurisdiction on matters relating to Family Law.
Mitchell is confident, approachable and highly respected by our clients and his peers. In his spare time, Mitchell trains with the Toyakan Karate School and plays acoustic guitar.
